IAGs Cargo Warehouse in Shannon Airport is an important hub for transport to the southwest Region. To ensure this operation is not effected a full upgrade of the life safety systems & the main electrical distribution system was undertaken while minimising downtime.

Challenges

Designing system for use in a vast area with a large array of different materials passing through presented some unique challenges, whilst also keeping the building operational.

By exploring all available equipment on the market with various suppliers, we were able to present the client with an easy to maintain solution. With careful co-ordination we were also able to replace the main & all sub distribution boards while keeping the downtime to the business to a minimum.
