Boyne Primary Care Centre

This project was located within Drogheda town centre, which was completed in early 2018. It brings a state of the art Primary Care Centre to the recently refurbished Boyne Centre.

Challenges

The aggressive timeline to meet the HSE move date, coupled with re-using the existing building structure resulted in a challenging project.

Successes

The project was handed over on time to meet HSE requirements. A full set of M&E demonstrations was also given to the HSE technical team & met their high expectations.

Early engagement with the M&E contractors allowed the design to be completed to match the existing building service risers.

Mechanical & Electrical Services

The mechanical and electrical engineering services for this new building comprises of a centrally located gas fired system to cater for the entire building, air conditioning system, mechanical ventilation, specialist gas installations, water services, electrical distribution system, lift installation, data and communications installations, lighting installation, general power, fire alarm system.
