Facebook Nova Atria Sandyford - TDD

Facebook

The challenge we faced in this building was to turn an existing CAT A installation into a grade A best in class office for our client. The client set a clear brief that the building must achieve a LEED gold rating and to be fully designed and co-ordinated in Revit. This was a particular challenge as the existing CAT A installations were not designed in Revit so Metec designed the full existing installations from scratch. The project was carried out over a number of aggressive programme phases so the completion of the MDF/IDF network in line with the early handover dates was essential. The introduction of a full catering and restaurant facility was a challenge in terms of the service routes through an existing core. Strict adherence to client corporate guidelines was also a key challenge as part of the design process.

Technical Due Diligence

Metec successfully completed the technical due diligence and landlord negotiation phase to ensure that Facebook were fully protected technically and commercially in advance of signing their lease terms.

Gary Quinn was the director in charge of the due diligence and negotiation stage.
