Metec have carried out a number of upgrades to Dublin Airport Hangar 6 for its end user, Aer Lingus. These projects have included comms room upgrades, full fire alarm to both office & hangar space. Full emergency lighting to the hangar space works are also due to commence shortly on the upgrade & replacement of the full heating to the hangar space.

By working closely with the local facilities team, the client design teams & contractors; all projects have been delivered within the existing site constraints.

Our understanding of the specific hangar requirements allowed these works to be completed on-time & on budget. Comprehensive scheduling to minimise downtime, will provide an upgraded life safety system including changeover of main panels, flame detector installation and Intrinsically safe (Ex) fire alarm devices.
