This project included the upgrading of the Emergency Lighting & Fire Alarm in the below buildings for Aer Lingus within the Dublin Airport campus. The works were completed while keeping all buildings live for the duration of the works. The buildings are located both Landside and Airside. Hanger 6, Cargo, Catering.

Challenges

Designing Electrical life safety systems to the latest regulations and completing the installation with minimum allowable downtime.

Successes

Close contact with the local facilities team, electrical contractor and client ensured a smooth handover of all buildings.

Comprehensive scheduling to minimise downtime, will provide an upgraded life safety system including changeover of main panels, flame detector installation and Intrinsically safe (Ex) fire alarm devices.
