Challenges

The programme for the project was extremely aggressive so we had to hit the ground running with detailed coordination to ensure our tender dates were met. The fit out was a double height space over 3 floors in a completed development so ensuring that thermal comfort was achieved whilst meeting the client brief was a big challenge. Sustainability was a key focus as we had to deliver the fit out whilst adhering to all the LEED requirements. The level of fit out was extremely high so the constant engagement with the interior architects team was critical.

Successes

The project is one of the most impressive fit outs Metec has completed and certainly one of the most fast paced considering the programme. The fit out was delivered on time and on budget and the client was absolutely thrilled with the final result – the brief was met and then some! All of the sustainability targets were met and the landlord engagement process was smooth in an occupied commercial and residential development.
