Paul Koster
Mechanical Engineer
After graduating from Building Services Level 7 in DIT in 2009 and Level 8 in 2012, I emigrated to Toronto, Canada to further my career. I gained a lot of work and life experiences while working abroad and worked on some prestigious projects ranging from Art Museum’s ,Multi-Storey Offices and High-End Residential to name a few.
In 2015, I moved back to Ireland and worked a wide variety of projects, including Capital Dock Residential, Multiple Google projects, numerous student accommodations and Facebook Headquarters in Ballsbridge.
In 2019, I joined Metec and have continued to work on a wide range of projects, including Aircraft Maintenance Warehouse and Office, Central Nursing Units, Colleges and Large Scale offices.
I have been involved in every aspect of a project including procurement, design, calculations, producing drawings along with the day to day management of a project, up until the projects completion.
Who am I?
Outside of Metec, I enjoy Sport, Movies and Music. Paul played soccer, hurling, football and golf when I was younger and I continue to enjoy Golf ( When the ball goes straight and not into the nearest lake).
While I was in Toronto, I attended a lot of sporting games, including baseball (Toronto Blue Jays), basketball (Toronto Raptors) and football (Toronto FC). It is also where my love of NFL developed and continues to this day.
