Jason Flanagan
BIM Technician
Jason, an experienced CAD Technician of 6 yrs, has recently transitioned to the role of BIM Technician. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Dublin Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Electrical Services Engineering. Jason’s experience extends across diverse industries, including building services, building surveying, commercial kitchen design, security systems, and freelance graphic design.
Who am I?
Beyond my work at Metec, I hail from Dublin (and while I am true blue) my wife is from West Cork so we had to find neutral territory. Together with our three children we have happily called Ashford, Co. Wicklow ‘home’ since 2018. Most weekends are spent on a beach, up a mountain or on a forest trail somewhere. In my spare time I enjoy running, cycling, swimming, snooker, football, playing & listening to music. I am a die-hard Thin Lizzy fan and try-hard guitarist (the bar has been set high for guitarists in Metec). I have a big passion for playing poker. I don’t get as much time as I would like for the bigger tournaments these days, but I still believe that one day I can land that one big win.
