Graham Sullivan
Electrical Engineer, CAD Technician
Graham Sullivan is a highly skilled Electrical Design Technician. Before joining Metec, Graham had worked in the Entertainment Industry for over 25 years, starting as a Sales Assistant in a music shop and ending up working as a DVD Sales Manager working with the key movie studios such as Disney, Universal, Paramount, Sony Pictures and Warner Home Video, to name but a few. With the introduction of streaming services and the downturn in physical sales, Graham decided to embark on a new career. He joined Metec in 2018, having studied AutoCAD way back in the early 90’s, and hasn’t looked back since. Graham went back to college in 2019 studying Electrical Services Engineering, part time, with TUDublin and qualifying with a well-deserved distinction. Graham has become an integral part of the Drawing and Design Teams within Metec and has worked on most of our largest projects for many of our prestigious clients, across all sectors.
Who am I?
Hi! I'm Graham Sullivan, and while I really enjoy my work designing electrical services for our many clients, I love indulging in a few of my favourite hobbies in my down time. I’m a huge music fan and love both listening and playing. I’m pretty much obsessed with all thing’s guitar and love nothing more than trying to figure out my favourite solos from my long list of blues and rock guitar heroes. I’m also an avid Movie/TV Show fan, a trait which, thankfully, has rubbed off on all in my house. My other passion is cycling. I was an avid road cyclist for most of my teens, taking part in long spins on Sunday and racing on Thursday nights. I then tried mountain biking in my early 20’s and have pretty much been mountain biking ever since. Most Sunday’s I can be found roaming the Wicklow hills searching for my new favourite trail.
