A focus on the human in the building video
I started my engineering career in 1995 with McArdle McSweeney & Associates, before moving on to Axis Engineering and now settling in Metec since 2018. During my 25 years as an Electrical Engineer I have had a wide variety of expertise in many sectors including education, health, commercial, retail and residential. I have developed a particular expertise in Education projects and during my career have delivered in excess of 35 new and extended school buildings for the Department of Education in all levels from primary to post primary schools and third level colleges/universities.
Outside of Metec, I like to keep fit. I can be regularly spotted pounding the highways and byways of Wicklow running or cycling and I am constantly training for my next Triathlon. I have completed many Triathlons from the shortest to the longest. When training for my next Triathlon PB, I like to play golf in my down time.
I have the distinction of representing my country in two different sporting activities: Triathlon and 10 pin bowling.
