This building with its large atrai and cast ceiling slab coffer design utilised the "free cooling" effect of night air to create a thermal buffer within the space. This was achieved by automated openable windows along the facade line. These opening windows also acted as passive make-up air paths for the smoke stack effect created by large atrium AOVS and these needed to be carefully considered during the design stage.
Working for both the landlord during the base build renovates and also the future tenant fitout Metec worked hard to create a trusted relationship for both parties and successfully served both parties interests during the process.
Metec design de-carbonised this building by the installation of a multi function VRF heat pump solution.
