This fitout with its protected structural elements was named ‘Worlds Leading Distillery Tour’ for two years in a row following its refurbishment.

Challenges

Numerous challenges were overcome to turn an existing protected structure with limited service into an award winning interactive experience. Due to the limited space requirements and large number of walls that needed to be retained, we had to ensure the majority of services were retained where need to minimise damage to the existing structure. By using low maintenance equipment we were also able to ensure future maintenance would be limited to avoid any future damage to the building. A winning interactive experience. By working closely with the design team & contractors as well as the client the project was handed over within the budget & 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

Successes

The time spent at detailed design stage meant that minimal additional works were needed to protected structural areas to make the project a huge success.
