Challenges

The challenge we faced in this building was to turn two buildings into one entire space for indeed. The base building we inherited was part CAT A part grey box so the mapping of the existing installations was our initial challenge. The base building was not completed in Revit but our team developed a full Revit model for the fit out. The project was carried out throughout a multitude of phases so making sure we hit every milestone was key . The completion of the MDF/IDF network in line with the early handover dates was essential. The introduction of a full catering kitchens and restaurant facility was a challenge in terms of the service routes through an existing core.

Successes

The design was fully co-ordinated in Revit which allowed the contractor to minimise their onsite construction co-ordination time and therefore meet the clients phased programme requirements. The project met all its key delivery dates from MDF/IDF handover right through to the last phase practical completion. We successfully complied with all landlord LEED requirements.
